Naomi Rene Trujillo, a Colorado Springs resident, has won admittance into the prestigious American Juried Art Salon's 2006 Spring/Summer show. The title of the winning work is "Conversation", a collage/mixed media piece. Naomi was one of six to win the coveted Award of Excellence in this show.
Top college and university art educators from Texas, Alabama, New York, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and North Carolina judged this year's competition. Artists from the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Spain, and Belarus participated in the event.
